Yashu is a Product Specialist with Global Alpha, responsible for maintaining the day-to-day relationship and investment strategy communication with the firms’ institutional clients and investment consultants.

Yashu has over 9 years of experience working with institutional clients and consultants. Prior to joining Global Alpha, Yashu was a Vice President and Client Relationship Manager at BlackRock where he was responsible for maintaining the day-to-day relationship with the firms’ Canadian institutional clients, prospects and investment consultants. Prior to BlackRock, Yashu was an analyst with Castle Hall Diligence responsible for conducting late due diligence on alternative asset managers on behalf of clients. Yashu began his career with Fiera Capital’s institutional markets team in 2013, assisting with the firms’ business development and client service activities with Canadian institutional clients.

Yashu holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics from Concordia University. In his spare time, you can find Yashu attempting a DIY home renovation project or taking Mila, his golden doodle, for long walks.
