Kevin is an Equity Analyst responsible for the emerging markets regions of Korea, China and the ASEAN, as well as global coverage of the technology, communications and utilities sector.

Before joining Global Alpha in 2024, Kevin was an Equity Research Associate on the Industrials team at CIBC. He previously worked in Korea as an Equity Research Associate covering financials at KDB Daewoo Securities and as Investment Analyst positions at Petra Capital Management and CoreValue Investment. His last role in Korea as a Senior Investment Analyst at Hanwha Asset Management, he focused on identifying opportunities beyond Korea, mainly in Vietnam and Japan.

Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Mathematics and Management Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and a Master of Business Administration from University of Toronto, where he received the John H. Watson Scholarship in Value Investing. He is a CFA charterholder.

Kevin enjoys playing sports, especially tennis, after retiring from playing midfield in soccer. He has also recently spent more time cycling, allowing him to appreciate the beauty of Canadian nature.
