Jorge joined Global Alpha in 2021 in the capacity of Emerging Markets Consultant.

Jorge is an experienced Portfolio Manager and has an extensive background in emerging markets. Most recently, Jorge was Managing Partner at KJK Investments. Additionally, Jorge has worked as a Portfolio Manager with the Bank of Chile, Director of Equity Research with Bice Investments, in Santiago, Chile, and Portfolio Manager and Country Head at Santander UK.

Jorge holds a Bachelor of Civil Industrial Engineering in Hydraulics from Catholic Pontifical University of Chile, a Master of Arts in Finance from University of Chile, and a Sloan Fellows Master of Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He is also a CFA charterholder.   Passionate about sports, Jorge learnt how to ski in his home country Chile and likes to travel to practice. He is also an avid scuba diver, having earned his rescue diver license.
